Today we had our final safety drill of the year. Fire, tornado and lockdown drills are required and NAJPS staff and students deserve praise for their ability to cooperate and learn more about school safety.
Planning ahead please note we have a half day on Friday, May 29 and half days June 1-4.
NAJPS graduation takes place Sunday May 17 at 3 pm. You are all welcome to attend.
We will host the Waldron baseball team on Tuesday May 12 at 5 pm and Tekonsha on Thursday May 14 at 5 pm.
Students in grades 5-7 attending the MIS field trip will have lunch upon their return to school. 4th graders will be attending the Adrian Symphony Orchestra on Tuesday only if they turn in their permission prior to the event!

The junior high awards assembly will take place on May 20 at 8:30 am in the high school gym. The high school awards ceremony will be on the same day but at 1 pm.
If you purchased from the Living Colors fundraiser you can pick up your flowers on Monday May 11 from noon to 5 pm in the elementary library.
Tomorrow is the seniors last day. Mandatory graduation practice will begin at 11:40 am and graduates should bring their cap and gown for a group photo. The seniors will do the traditional walk through at 12:30. If parents plan to attend the walk through please sign in at the main office upon arrival and you will be informed of where you can watch.
Due to an emergency today May 6, 2026 Bus 4 will not be available for the afternoon route. Alternative transportation will be needed for the students on this route. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Today our community celebrated our seniors at Senior Tea.
Tomorrow our students can participate in Drive Anything to school.
Tomorrow evening, we welcome you all to Senior Spotlight and Awards Night. The program will be held at 6:30 pm in the high school gym!

Please remember we have three major senior events this week.
Tuesday, May 5 is Senior Tea at 1:00 pm.
Wednesday, May 6 is Senior Spotlight and Awards at 6:30 pm in the high school gym. Both of these events are mandatory and require students to be dressed to impress!
Friday is the last day for seniors. We will have a full day and graduation rehearsal, senior walk through and check out is mandatory.
This week we honor all educators in our district for Education Appreciation Week.
Our baseball and softball teams will travel to Camden Frontier for a double header on Tuesday with the game beginning at 4:30 pm.
Our seniors will attend the traditional Senior Tea on Tuesday, May 5. On Wednesday May 6 we will host seniors and their families at Senior Spotlight and Awards Night in the high school gym beginning at 6:30 pm. On Saturday May 9 we will host Purse Bingo and tickets are still available!

Senior Decision Day is at 2:00 pm today. Guests need to stop in the high school upon arrival. The event is at 2:00 pm. We apologize for the message yesterday with the incorrect time.
On Friday, May 1 at 1:00 pm NAJPS will celebrate Senior Decision Day in the high school. Parents are welcome to attend but will need to check into the office upon arrival.
The varsity baseball team rallied but came up short against Pittsford. The team played hard and represented NAJPS with great sportsmanship!

We have a week of great activities and additional learning opportunities for all starting tomorrow Monday, April 27! This entire week Miss Trudy will be driving the route Randy Johnson normally drives.
Monday all students K-12 will attend an assembly with a performance by Ten Talents. Softball will play at Concord at 5 pm.
Tuesday April 28 baseball and softball will have double headers at Litchfield beginning at 4 pm.
Thursday April 29 baseball and softball will play at Pittsford starting at 3:30 pm.
Friday will be Senior Decision Day!
The County Athletic Scholar Banquet will be held at 6 pm. Also on Saturday May 2 the NAJPS Alumni Banquet will be held at 4 pm.
We are still working diligently to get YES votes for the May 5 Millage renewal! Please help our students and school district by voting YES on the renewal. This is NOT a new tax!

Our baseball and softball teams both took home the win tonight after beating Waldron! Go Rams!
Please remember To come enjoy our Spring band concert at 6 pm in the high school gymnasium. Two guests will be winners of a free raffle for a ticket to the NAJPS Purse Bingo being held on May 5, 2026.
Beginning Monday, April 27 we will revert back to 4 bus runs as Trudy returns to her route.
The Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday April 20 at 6:00 pm. We will not be hosting a meet and greet at 5:30 pm, however the meeting will be held as normal at 6:00 pm.
We have another busy but exciting week for all NAJPS students!
Monday, April 20 our seniors will be leaving at 6:45 am for their trip to Grand Rapids.
Our elementary students will be taking the MSTEP tests this week.
On Thursday Juniors will be taking the ACT. Any senior who did not take the ACT last year will test also.
Students who ride Priscilla's bus will need to be transported to and from school on Monday April 20. if possible. Priscilla will not be driving her route tomorrow. TECH students will be transported by another bus driver for tomorrow.
The Board of Education meeting will be held in the high school library tomorrow at 6:00 pm. Please attend.
We are actively looking for bus drivers. The school district pays for your training! Please contact Interim Superintendent Mary Halley to apply.
May 9 is the NAJPS Purse Bingo !! Tickets are selling fast! Do not miss out. Profits go directly back to our school, and activities for students. Contact the high school office or Mary Halley for more information.
