Notice of a Public Hearing on Proposed 2026/2027 Budget
The elementary awards ceremony will take place June 4 at 9 am in the high school gymnasium.
The district's Special Education waiver will be sent home with report cards, however it is also posted for your information.
June 4 is the final day of the academic year and we are running a half day schedule.
Wednesday June 3 and Thursday June 4 our the last two days of school. Exams will take place on both days for middle and high school students. Trudy's and Priscilla's bus routes will run am and pm both days!

Trudy's bus will run as normal Tuesday, June 2. Wednesday and Thursday Trudy and Priscilla will both be driving their routes.
The district appreciates the support and commitment of families who transported students to school.
The district is experiencing a challenge with transportation. We have limited drivers this week due to two resignations and scheduled time off by drivers. The four days this week are all half days with a 7:55 am start time and a 11:05 am dismissal.
On Monday June 1 Trudy's bus route will run as scheduled in the morning. We have no drivers for Monday's routes home. Tuesday Trudy's morning and afternoon route is scheduled to run.
Wednesday and Thursday we will have Trudy's and Priscilla's routes for both pick up and back home after dismissal.
We know this can cause hardship on our families and students. We are grateful for any help in transporting our students.
The NAJPS Varsity Baseball Team just won game 1 of districts! They play again tonight at 5:00 pm. Come out to Concord High school to cheer them on to a District title!!
There is a pop can fundraiser this weekend. Field Day for the elementary is Friday. John's bus #5 will not run Friday May 29. The NAJPS Varsity Baseball Team plays at Concord Friday at noon. If they win the first game, they play at approximately 5 for the District title!

On Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29 the bus normally driven by John, bus #5, will not operate. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and we ask for any support in helping transport your students to school on both days.

The NAJPS Elementary Awards ceremony will take place June 4 at 9 am. The Varsity Boy's Baseball Team beat Reading and moves on to play Friday, May 29 against Tekonsha at noon in Concord!
Elementary students can participate in the ice cream fund raiser on Thursday, May 28! Field Day for grades K - 5 is Friday this week!

The NAJPS Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Spindleman, showed great pride and appreciation at the Memorial Day parade held today in honor of those who have and are still serving our nation.
The Varsity Baseball team plays against Reading at Concord High School Tuesday May 26 at 4:30 pm.
There will be a student and parent meeting Thursday, May 28 for the NAJPS Robotics team. This includes students who have just signed up and for those returning to the team. The meeting will be held at 3:15 pm in the High School library. Parents are highly encouraged to attend.
Priscilla's bus route will not run am or pm routes on Friday May 22.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the opposing team, the NAJPS Baseball game scheduled for tonight, May 20, has been canceled.
The regularly scheduled meeting of the NAJPS Board of Education originally scheduled for Monday, May 18 will now be held on Wednesday May 20 at 6 pm in the high school library.

The NAJPS Board of Education and our faculty and staff cordially invite you to attend the Graduation Ceremony at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Band students grades 7th through 12th should be ready by 2:45 pm. The band room opens at 2:15 pm.
Baccalaureate begins at 2:00 pm in the high school gym and Pastor Mike from the North Adams Community Church will share the message.

Today we had our final safety drill of the year. Fire, tornado and lockdown drills are required and NAJPS staff and students deserve praise for their ability to cooperate and learn more about school safety.
Planning ahead please note we have a half day on Friday, May 29 and half days June 1-4.
NAJPS graduation takes place Sunday May 17 at 3 pm. You are all welcome to attend.
We will host the Waldron baseball team on Tuesday May 12 at 5 pm and Tekonsha on Thursday May 14 at 5 pm.
