NAJ Senior Awards will be Wednesday, May 19 at 7 PM. On Sunday, May 23 at 2 PM is Baccalaureate, followed by graduation beginning at 3 PM. We hope to see you there!

North Adams-Jerome High School has been recognized by US News and World Report as the #1 rated high school in Hillsdale County for 2020-21. NAJ also was rated #202 in the state. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college. We are adding even more for the fall and we are excited for the future! Well done, teachers, students, and staff!
Mrs. Spieth and Ms. Newell led their class in pinecone bird feeder creation today. The kids really enjoyed it! Hopefully the weather will continue to improve so we can do more outdoor projects.

North Adams-Jerome Public Schools is announcing a new full time teaching position for the 2021-22 school year. This individual will teach elementary art, music, computers, and possibly STEM. The exact assignment is subject to change if the district needs to change the rotation of classes.
The successful candidate will have elementary teacher certification with K-5 all subjects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in the areas mentioned above, and are able to create meaningful, engaging lessons for our students.
There will be a MS track meeting at lunch on Monday April 12 and practice will begin Tuesday April 13 . Thank you.
North Adams-Jerome Public Schools will return on Monday, April 12, as scheduled. This goes for all extracurricular activities as well. We wanted to address this as the governor suggested a two week shutdown. We have precautions in place . Thank you.

The Easter Bunny is coming to NAJ! At the elementary on Thursday from 3-7 and Friday 9-12 and 1-6, each NAJ elementary student will get a free Easter basket with candy and other surprises from Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Kids will also be able to get a photo with the Easter Bunny. We hope to see you there!

Dear NAJ families:
We have received several COVID positive reports today in both the elementary and middle school/ high school. You will be contacted if your child is believed to have been in close contact with an infected person. As a result of this news, the health department has recommended us ceasing in person instruction for Friday, March 26, and all of next week. Virtual will begin tomorrow through Thursday, April 1. We do not have school on Good Friday, April 2 through the following week of spring break. Elementary students will have packets sent home to work on, but will not be required to go online to do them. If your elementary child is not currently at school, you may pick up their packets in the tote located outside the elementary main entrance. Middle School and High School students will be able to enter lessons though Google Classroom. The 9th grade orientation for next Wednesday will be rescheduled. We plan on returning after spring break to regular in person instruction. The kindergarten roundup for tonight is still going on as planned. Thank you.
