I wanted to give you and update on school resuming in person. Although I know we all want to get back to the building and are scheduled to do so next week, the health department of Hillsdale County has indicated that we are one of the most infected counties in the region right now, and as more of our staff and students are quarantined or infected, we are electing to extend our online only instruction until January 11.
The governor's press conference inferred another potential shut down and in order to get the necessary food for the lunch and breakfast programs, we would have to order by today and we couldn't wait any longer to take action.
We wanted to give parents and guardians adequate time to get child care arrangements. I truly apologize for any inconvenience, but the risks are simply too high right now. Your children's and my staff's safety well always be my top concern.
Thank you for supporting us during these difficult times and better days are ahead for all of us. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Good morning, Kindergarten parents! Packets will be in totes ready for pick up at 8:00am on Monday, Nov. 30th . Those not picked up by 8:00 am on Tuesday Dec. 1st will be delivered to the student's home address. Contact Mrs. Weber if you have any questions. Totes will remain outside from now on for Parents who want to drop off packets.

We are going to restart in person learning on Tuesday, December 8, for all grade levels. The original return date was projected to be November 30 for K-8 students, but the data indicating new cases has determined that a delay is necessary. We are frustrated with this news, but it is important to try and curb the spread in the district. Meal service will still be provided every Monday until we return. Thank you.
There is free Covid testing at the Dial a Ride blue barn on Lake Wilson Road until 4 pm today. They may be adding more sessions due to increased demand. Thank you.
High School students will remain online until December 8, per state order. Currently, K-8 students are scheduled to return to in person learning on November 30. All athletic practices, contests, and events are also postponed. You will be notified as we get more information. Thank you.
We will be offering meals starting Monday until we return. We will give you food for Monday through Friday for students who need it. We are able to deliver it or you can pick it up. You must send your name, address, whether you need delivery or pickup, and names of NAJ students to Wes Johnson at his cell phone 810-730-7473 by noon on Sunday, if you'd like to participate. Pickup will be 10-1 on Monday with delivery around that same time. Thank you!

Congratulations to three of our Lady Rams volleyball players who were recognized for their success on court. Senior Abi Nunez was named the SCAA league MVP! Juniors Mary Adams and Abbie Jones were 2nd team All-League, and Senior Cassidy May received Honorable Mention honors. Great job, ladies!
